Bypass AI detection
To bypass AI detection, a rewrite needs to address the patterns that make text read as machine-written. Ink is an AI humanizer. It aims to make a draft read as human-written while keeping what the draft says. Results vary by detector and by text, so check your own text.
What detectors look for
AI detectors classify patterns associated with generated writing. Some approaches consider predictable word choice and how much sentence patterns vary. Others learn combinations of signals from human and generated examples. Repeated transitions, uniform rhythm and stock phrasing can make writing feel machine-written, but no single phrase establishes authorship. Our detector explainer covers the differences.
Detectors can disagree, flag human writing or miss generated text. A study of detection tools documented reliability problems in the tools tested. Methods change, so a result from one detector does not establish what another will report.
How Ink rewrites those patterns
Ink rewrites the patterns that make text read as machine-written and that AI detectors look for. It changes stock phrases, uniform sentence rhythm, generic transitions and filler. The aim is readable prose. Review each rewrite for natural wording, rather than a string of unusual synonyms.
Choose Light, Balanced or Strong strength for the amount of change, and Work, Casual or Academic context for the intended reader. Ink checks names, numbers, dates, quotes, citations and links and warns if one goes missing. These checks can miss changes. Use Compare to review the edits and verify the result against the source before using it.
Check your own text
Ink has no published measured pass rates yet. Ink makes no guarantee about how any detector classifies text. If a detector result matters to your workflow, check the final text yourself with the relevant tool and review its privacy terms before sharing it. Read about what undetectable AI writing means in practice.
Ink never sends your text to a detector and runs no automated detector checks. See the Privacy Policy and Terms. Follow any rules about AI use and disclosure where you submit writing. For an edit you can review locally, the AI phrase checker highlights phrases in your browser without judging who wrote them.
