AI humanizer
An AI humanizer rewrites an AI draft so it reads as human-written. Ink changes stock phrasing, repetitive sentence structures and padding while keeping your meaning. Its own model rewrites the patterns that make text read as machine-written and that AI detectors look for. You supply the draft and decide which edits to keep.
Humanize the wording, keep the facts
A rewrite is useful only if it still says what you meant. Ink is built to keep names, numbers, dates, quotes, citations and links, and warns when one drops. Those checks can miss changes. A name can remain in a sentence whose meaning has shifted, so review the result alongside the source. Use Compare to see the edits before copying the final text.
Check qualifications as carefully as facts. A possible result should not become a firm promise, and someone else’s finding should keep its attribution. Supply missing evidence yourself before rewriting. The guide to rewriting without losing facts explains what to review beyond a missing name or number.
Choose the amount of change
Light strength suits a draft that needs small wording changes. Balanced allows more rephrasing, and Strong gives more room to change sentence rhythm and structure. Choose Work, Casual or Academic context for the intended reader. Start with the draft’s job: an email may need a clear request, while a report needs its finding and limits intact.
You can use Ink on the website, in Claude, in ChatGPT or through the rewrite API. The shared model is not a profile trained on a personal style. For a smaller manual edit, the AI phrase checker highlights stock phrases in your browser and offers alternatives.
Human to readers and detectors
Ink aims to make text read as human-written. It rewrites stock phrases, uniform sentence rhythm, generic transitions and filler. Ink never sends your text to a detector and runs no automated detector checks.
Results vary by detector and by text, so check your own text. Ink makes no guarantee about how any detector classifies text, and has no published measured pass rates yet. Read about bypassing AI detection and the limits of undetectable AI writing. Follow the rules for AI use wherever you submit the result.
